Pair of early 17th century Dutch renaissance Delft tiles, Each with a multi-colored (blue, green, orange and yellow) painted bunch of grapes, placed diagonally. Along the edges, half a rosette and a lily in the corners.
These tiles were made to form larger panels, the decoration perfectly continuing in one another. See for instance in the collection of 16 of the Rijksmuseum (BK-1955-250-A-1).
Fair condition; Chipping to the edges, some damage to the glaze.
