18th-Century Dutch Delftware Plate – Flower Basket with Birds, Pieter Kocx / De Grieksche A
This tin-glazed earthenware plate features a flower basket with flying birds, a design commonly seen on larger dishes.
Mark: APK for Pieter Kocx, owner of De Grieksche A, active 1701–1722. De Grieksche A was established in 1658 and became one of the most successful Delftware factories of the Golden Age. The factory was renowned for its high-quality Delftware and known to have supplied the famous tulip vases to the royal palaces of William and Mary.
Dimensions: diameter 23 cm.
Condition: good; minor wear consistent with age. No restoration.
