This unmarked tin-glazed earthenware plate features a chinoiserie decoration of a peacock in a garden, framed by a Wanli-style border in typical Kraak-style panels. The panels depict Daoist symbols or precious gifts, a decorative element commonly used in early 18th-century Delftware inspired by Chinese export porcelain.
