Rare and fine set of three Dutch Delftware plates dating to the second half of the 18th century, decorated in cobalt blue on a white tin-glazed ground. Each plate features a finely painted central arrangement of flowers and blossoms, with a fluted and scalloped rim adorned with stylized flower buds
Marked with an ax for The Porceleyne Byl (The Porcelain Axe), dates: 1657-1803. Plates from this workshop are notable for their elegant floral motifs and refined blue-and-white decoration, reflecting the high-quality Delft production of the late 18th century.
Good condition; some light chipping (which is usual to Delftware of this age)
