Delft ‘Peacock’ plate by Quirinus Mesch – second half 18th century

Dutch Delft blue and white ‘Peacock’ plate, 18th century, with ochre rim, the center decorated in cobalt with a vase containing an arrangement of peacock feathers and flowers. The rim decorated with stylized flower heads against a scrolling ground.
Marked ‘Q:M’, attributed to Quirinus Mesch.
Very good condition; light chipping and usual wear to the rim.
